Fire and Ice Pickles

This goes good with eggs, sandwiches, etc. Juice is great, added to mayonnaise, for potato salad or macaroni salad

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon Kosher dill pickles, whole (pour all juice off) sliced 1/2" thick
  • 2 large cloves garlic, diced into small pieces
  • 1 tsp. Louisiana hot sauce
  • 4 lbs. sugar

Instructions

  1. Make 4 layers, dividing above ingredients into 4 equal portions: pickles, garlic, 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce, sugar

  2. Refrigerate and invert jar, once a day for 14 days.

  3. Then Enjoy!
